What will our online TABC certification course not teach you? To keep an eye out for customers carrying shotguns and rifles around your store.
The TABC is advising people in Central Texas that carrying firearms into businesses that sell alcohol is not allowed. What’s odd is that apparently it’s legal to carry “long guns” like shotguns and rifles in public, just not in stores that sell or serve alcohol. So, if you happen to be walking down the street with your AK-47 and need to swing by the liquor store, you’ll need to find a safe and legal place to store that bad boy while you buy your booze.
